For the past ten years, Busia has lost over Sh1 billion funding from Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) for the development of our road networks as our neighbouring counties have instead benefitted from our allocations.
However our deliberate and intentional collaboration with national agencies such as KURA, KENHA and KeRRA have proved fruitful. Notably, KENHA has undertaken the expansion of Kisumu -Busia road from Korinda to Custom offices at the border.
